The Role Model
Everyone has role models. For example, my mother's role model is Elizabeth Elliot, an amazing Christian woman who served as missionary. I have 2 role models: Tori Kelly, and Melanie Wilbur. (Don't worry, I have more than two role models)
Tori Kelly is one of my role models because she loves Jesus with all her heart, and she has the most amazing voice. When I first started seeing Tori Kelly as my role model, I was in second grade. The movie Sing had just come out, and that was my favorite movie. So, for the talent show at my school, I performed Don't You Worry 'Bout a Thing. I started listening to more of her songs, and then I started to research about her. And now, I know many of her songs, and I love her even more.
Now, Melanie Wilbur is a Christian author that wrote one of my favorite series: The Seeking Heart series. After I read those books, I prayed each night to become more like Amber, who is the main character of the series. I've e-mailed Melanie a few times, and I've read her blog, as well. She's inspired me with her books to share God's word, and to be a strong woman of God.
So these are just two of my role models, but I have many more. Another one of my role models is my mom. I love her, and she loves me, and she encourages me to seek into the kingdom of God.
